Bayelsa state governor, Diri hands over governance to his Vice

Bayelsa state governor, Diri Duoye has on Monday being the 25 of November hand over governance to his Vice.

This was made public by the the governor himself after a brief meeting with some top government officials, that he want to hands over governance to his Vice in other to take an annual leave.

Governor Diri after making this public assures the people of Bayelsa state not bother about his leave as he is confident that the deputy governor, senators and others involved in running the affairs of the state are active and ever ready to carryout the affairs of the state but he didn't make mention of how long he will be off from office.

In his words " My absence shall not in any way affect the smooth running of the state affairs and the ongoing projects, programs by the various ministries of the state"

"Happy New week to all Bayelsa citizens, as I officially proceed on my leave".
